The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) and the visiting De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL), observed Brother Rice's basketball team overcome De La Salle by a margin of 49-33.

The Crusaders (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Celtics come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record.

In their next game, the Meteors battle the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. De La Salle will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Redwings come into the challenge with a 14-0 record after their 50-25 non-league win over Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL).
