Monsignor Farrell Lions (Staten Island, NY) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host St. John's Prep Red Storm (Astoria, NY), 56-34 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Peter's (Staten Island, NY). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record.
In their next game, the Red Storm encounter the St. Edmund Prep Eagles (Brooklyn, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. St. John's Prep will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 64-53 non-league win over Moore Catholic (Staten Island, NY).
