Missouri High School Basketball - Battle nips Skyline

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Battle Spartans basketball team scored a close 69-68 win over the Skyline Tigers.
The Spartans (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO). The Bruins come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Rock Bridge was tipped by Tipton (Tipton, MO), 64-55, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Strafford Indians (Strafford, MO) in a Mid-Lakes contest, on Thursday, January 16. Skyline will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 60-54 non-league win over Quincy (Quincy, IL).
