In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Boyertown Bears basketball team scored a good 51-42 triumph over the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters.

The Bears (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA). The Indians go into the Pioneer contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Upper Perkiomen was toppled by William Allen (Allentown, PA), 49-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hatters confront the Bensalem Fighting Owls (Bensalem, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Hatboro-Horsham will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Fighting Owls go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 51-48 non-league win over New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA).
