Colorado High School Basketball - Niwot knocks off Brighton

January 11, 2025: Brighton, CO 80601

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Niwot Cougars basketball team scored a good 56-36 win over the Brighton Bulldogs.

The Cougars (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fairview (Boulder, CO). The Knights come into the 6A/5A/4A Granite Peaks contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Fairview defeated Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO), 56-16, in a non-league contest.

The Bulldogs (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Prairie View (Henderson, CO). The Thunderhawks come into the 6A/5A/4A Rocky Mountain test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Prairie View was knocked off by Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO), 86-12, in a league test.
