Vermont High School Basketball - Champlain Valley Union routs Burr & Burton

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Champlain Valley Union Redhawks basketball team scored a big 54-31 win over the Burr & Burton Bulldogs.
The Redhawks (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT). The Hilltoppers come into the Metro contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, St. Johnsbury Academy smashed Rutland (Rutland, VT), 59-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Otter Valley Otters (Brandon, VT) in a Marble Valley - B contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Burr & Burton will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Otters come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 61-33 non-league loss to Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT).
