The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE), observed Skutt Catholic's basketball team knock off Elkhorn North by a score of 67-57.
The SkyHawks (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Duchesne (Omaha, NE). The Cardinals come into the B District 2 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Duchesne dropped by Norris (Firth, NE), 61-24, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the encounter the Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE) in a B District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Elkhorn North will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 60-37 non-league loss to Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE).
