The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK) and the visiting Glencoe Panthers (Glencoe, OK), observed Varnum's basketball team overcome Glencoe by a margin of 46-38.

The Whippets (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Macomb (Macomb, OK). The Hornets come into the Little River challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Macomb defeated Wayne (Wayne, OK), 39-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Carney Bulldogs (Carney, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Glencoe will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record.
