The Renaissance Phoenix basketball squad (Detroit, MI), was nudged 53-49 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Grass Lake Warriors (Grass Lake, MI)
With the victory, Grass Lake advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Vandercook Lake (Jackson, MI) to meet the Jayhawks in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Jayhawks enter the battle with a record of 0-3.
The Phoenix now own a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cass Tech for a non-league battle on Monday, January 13. Renaissance will meet a Technicians squad coming off a 41-22 non-league win over Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI). The Technicians record now stands at 8-2.
