The Mt. Vernon Rams got by the visiting Highland Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 42-41 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Rams clash with the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Mt. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 15-2 season record. The Knights come into the outing with a 15-3 record after their 63-49 league win over Jersey (Jerseyville, IL).
