The Roxana Shells basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights to 11 in the Shells non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Shells now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Breese Central for a Cahokia - Mississippi game on Monday, January 13. Roxana will confront a Cougars team coming off a 63-46 non-league win over Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, Metro-East Lutheran falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 4-15. Murphysboro lost 47-22 in their recent league game against Carterville (Carterville, IL)
