Utah High School Basketball - Waterford nips Salt Lake Academy

January 11, 2025: Sandy, UT 84093

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Waterford Ravens basketball team scored a close 36-31 triumph over the Salt Lake Academy Griffins.

The Ravens (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT). The Winged Lions go into the 2A Region 17 contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Rowland Hall was tipped by St. Joseph (Ogden, UT), 51-12, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Griffins battle the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles (Provo, UT) in a 2A Region 16 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Salt Lake Academy will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-11 record after their 23-20 league loss to American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT).
