Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA) and the visiting University Red Devils (San Francisco, CA), saw Burlingame's soccer squad knock off University by a count of 3-1.

The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Woodside (Woodside, CA). The Wildcats enter the PAL - Bay battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Woodside tipped Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA), 8-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Red Devils confront the Convent of the Sacred Heart Cubs (San Francisco, CA) in a Bay Counties -West battle, on Tuesday, January 14. University will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Cubs enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 6-0 league loss to Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA).
