Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) and the visiting Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA), saw Christopher's soccer squad knock off Central by a count of 3-1.

The Cougars (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA). The Bulldogs enter the BVAL - Santa Teresa - East battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Ann Sobrato tipped Lincoln (San Jose, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Grizzlies battle the Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) in a Tri-Rivers battle, on Tuesday, January 14. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Clovis (Clovis, CA).
