With the triumph, Grand Oaks moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX) to clash with the Highlanders in a 6A Region 2 District 13 test on Tuesday, January 14. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 3-1. The Woodlands won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Klein Oak (Spring, TX)

The Pirates now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Brook for a non-league test on Monday, January 13. Vidor will clash with a Bruins team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX). The Bruins record now stands at 2-6.
