The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Dragons enter the 5A Region 4 District 28 battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Southwest tipped Burbank (San Antonio, TX), 7-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, January 14. Somerset will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Stevens (San Antonio, TX).
