The Dakota Cougars ice hockey team scored 2 points and held the host Dow Chargers to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host De La Salle Collegiate for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Dakota will play a Pilots team coming off a 4-2 league win over Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI). The Pilots record now stands at 7-5.

With the defeat, Dow moves to 7-3 on the season. The Chargers travel to Central (Bay City, MI) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Central won 5-4 in their recent non-league bout against Midland (Midland, MI)
