The St. Mary's Prep Eaglets ice hockey team scored 8 points and held the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils to 0 in the Eaglets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eaglets now hold a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trenton for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 15. St. Mary's Prep will play a Trojans team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Carlson (Gibraltar, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 10-3.
With the defeat, Grosse Pointe South moves to 3-10 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI) to play the Norsemen in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Norsemen go into the bout with a record of 5-6.
