New York High School Ice Hockey - McQuaid Jesuit holds off Ithaca

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting McQuaid Jesuit Knights ice hockey team scored a close 7-6 victory over the Ithaca Little Red.

The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY). The Little Irish go into the North/South Division contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Aquinas Institute was nipped by Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY), 6-3, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Little Red play the Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets (Manlius, NY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. Ithaca will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
