The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI) and the visiting Stevenson Spartans (Livonia, MI), witnessed Marquette's ice hockey team defeat Stevenson by a final score of 3-1.

The Redmen (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Flivvers come into the Lake Superior challenge with a 1-7 record.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Churchill Chargers (Livonia, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - South challenge, on Friday, January 17. Stevenson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record.
