In Saturday's non-league test, the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) basketball squad trounced the visiting Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM), by a final score of 69-40.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 24. Taos will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.

The Rockets now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roswell for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Goddard will face a Coyotes squad coming off a 58-37 non-league win over Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 5-2.
