Indiana High School Basketball - Greenfield-Central holds off Mt. Vernon

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Greenfield-Central Cougars basketball team scored a close 41-35 triumph over the Mt. Vernon Marauders.

The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN). The Royals go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record.

In their next game, the Marauders confront the Avon Orioles (Avon, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Mt. Vernon will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record.
