In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Leipsic Vikings basketball team scored a good 39-27 triumph over the Holgate Tigers.
The Vikings (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Elmwood (Bloomdale, OH). The Royals go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the North Central Eagles (Pioneer, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Holgate will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
