Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Moses Brown Quakers (Providence, RI), 62-61 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Pilgrim upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Patriots host Narragansett (Narragansett, RI) to face the Mariners in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. The Mariners enter the match with a record of 0-2.
The Quakers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coventry for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. Moses Brown will face a Oakers squad coming off a 59-57 non-league loss to West Warwick (West Warwick, RI). The Oakers record now stands at 1-4.
