Illinois High School Basketball - Naperville Central holds off Nazareth Academy

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) and the host Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL), saw Naperville Central's basketball squad hold off Nazareth Academy by a tally of 53-49.
With the victory, Naperville Central improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 22. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 11-4.
Next up, the Roadrunners confront the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic challenge, on Friday, January 14. Nazareth Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 67-59 non-league loss to Pontiac (Pontiac, IL).
