The Alliance Aviators basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Minerva Lions to 47 in the Aviators league triumph on Wednesday.
In their next game, the Aviators meet the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 19. Alliance will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 5-7 record after their 79-45 non-league loss to Fairless (Navarre, OH).
With the defeat, Minerva moves to 4-7 on the year. The Lions host Carrollton (Carrollton, OH) to meet the Warriors in a Eastern Buckeye match on Saturday, January 15. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 6-7. Carrollton lost 54-41 in their recent league match against West Branch (Beloit, OH)
