The Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Penn Manor Comets (Millersville, PA), 53-50 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Barons (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Eastern Lebanon County (Myerstown, PA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Eastern Lebanon County was tipped by Cocalico (Denver, PA), 32-31, in a non-league test.
The Comets now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Ephrata for a non-league test on Friday, January 14. Penn Manor will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 42-37 non-league loss to Hempfield (Landisville, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-6.
