In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Alden-Conger Knights (Alden, MN), by a margin of 87-64.
The Burros (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN). The Knights go into the A Section 1 outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Kingsland was trounced by Goodhue (Goodhue, MN), 67-33, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Nicollet for a A Section 2 outing on Friday, January 13. Alden-Conger will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 75-39 non-league loss to Sibley East (Arlington, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 0-8.
