Maryland High School Basketball - Anacostia can't hold off Suitland

The Suitland Rams basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Anacostia Indians to 56 in the Rams league triumph on Thursday.
The Rams now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eleanor Roosevelt for a Prince George's County 4A contest on Tuesday, January 17. Suitland will battle a Raiders team coming off a 68-63 league loss to Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 4-6.
The Indians (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against McKinley Tech (Washington, DC). The Trainers enter the DCSAA AA contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, McKinley Tech was nudged by Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC), 63-44, in a league contest.
