Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cooter Wildcats (Cooter, MO) and the visiting Hayti Indians (Hayti, MO), saw Cooter's basketball squad wallop Hayti by a count of 81-58.
With the victory, Cooter upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Delta (Deering, MO) to play the Chargers in a Tri-County - Southeast challenge on Friday, January 13. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Indians play the Campbell Camels (Campbell, MO) in a Bootheel challenge, on Friday, January 13. Hayti will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Camels come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 61-54 league loss to Portageville (Portageville, MO).
