Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Corry Beavers (Corry, PA) and the visiting Fort LeBoeuf Bison (Waterford, PA), saw Corry's basketball squad hold off Fort LeBoeuf by a count of 53-48.

With the victory, Corry upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Beavers host Oil City (Oil City, PA) to play the Oilers in a District 10 Region 5 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Oilers come into the challenge with a record of 10-2.

Next up, the Bison play the McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Fort LeBoeuf will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 56-49 league win over Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA).
