Erie Royals (Erie, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Warren Dragons (Warren, PA), 75-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Erie upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA) to play the Huskies in a District 10 Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Harbor Creek won 70-50 in their recent non-league bout against Meadville (Meadville, PA)

Next up, the Dragons play the DuBois Beavers (DuBois, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Warren will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Beavers come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 52-50 league loss to St. Marys (St. Marys, PA).
