The Gonzaga Eagles ran past the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights basketball team by a final score of 69-52 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 16. Gonzaga will attempt to move on its 16-0 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 69-60 league loss to Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA).
With the defeat, St. Mary's Ryken moves to 6-10 on the year. The Knights travel to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD) to face the Mustangs in a Washington Catholic game on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 13-3.
