The Parker Pheasants basketball team (Parker, SD), was toppled 47-32 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD)
The Beavers now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Howard for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. Hanson will confront a Tigers team coming off a 67-23 non-league loss to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.
The Pheasants (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Canton (Canton, SD). The C-Hawks come into the A Region 4 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Canton was toppled by Canistota (Canistota, SD), 48-46, in a non-league battle.
