New Mexico High School Basketball - Shiprock knocked off by Hot Springs

The Hot Springs Tigers basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Shiprock Chieftains to 66 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hope Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Hot Springs will meet a Huskies team coming off a 86-51 non-league win over West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 9-6.

The Chieftains (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Dons enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, West Las Vegas was defeated by Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 86-51, in a non-league contest.
