Montana High School Basketball - Powell County succumbs to Jefferson

The Jefferson Panthers topped the host Powell County Wardens basketball team by a final score of 58-46 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Broadwater Bulldogs (Townsend, MT) in a B District 5 game, on Saturday, January 14. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 5-3 record after their 58-46 league win over Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek (Whitehall, MT).

With the defeat, Powell County moves to 1-9 on the year. The Wardens travel to Loyola-Sacred Heart (Missoula, MT) to face the Rams in a B District 6 game on Saturday, January 14. The Rams enter the game with a record of 9-0. Loyola-Sacred Heart won 72-23 in their recent non-league game against Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek (Whitehall, MT)
