The Millennium Tigers routed the host La Joya Community Fighting Lobos basketball team by a final score of 122-53 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) in a 5A Desert West game, on Friday, January 13. Millennium will attempt to move on its 15-3 season record. The Vipers enter the game with a 9-7 record after their 76-49 league win over Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ).
With the defeat, La Joya Community moves to 5-10 on the year. The Fighting lobos travel to Westview (Avondale, AZ) to face the Knights in a 5A Desert West game on Tuesday, January 17. The Knights enter the game with a record of 11-6.
