The Weston Trojans basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Masuk Panthers to 49 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Milford for a Southwest contest on Tuesday, January 17. Weston will meet a Green Wave team coming off a 45-41 non-league win over Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Green Wave record now stands at 4-5.
The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers enter the Southwest contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Catholic ran past Bassick (Bridgeport, CT), 66-51, in a non-league contest.
