In Thursday's non-league outing, the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA), by a count of 63-51.

The Crusaders (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Rough Riders go into the non-league outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Catasauqua was topped by Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA), 60-42, in a league outing.

The Spartans now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Pen Argyl for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Southern Lehigh will clash with a Green Knights squad coming off a 43-33 non-league loss to Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA). The Green Knights record now stands at 5-8.
