Nebraska High School Basketball - Anselmo-Merna knocked off by Sandhills/Thedford

The Sandhills/Thedford Knights basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Anselmo-Merna Coyotes to 30 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandhills Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Sandhills/Thedford will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 47-40 non-league loss to Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-6.

The Coyotes (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Central Valley (Greeley, NE). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Central Valley was outscored by Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE), 71-36, in a non-league contest.
