South Dakota High School Basketball - Menno thwarts Bridgewater/Emery

The Menno Wolves (Menno, SD) basketball knocked off the visiting Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD), 47-31 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wolves (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD). The go into the B Region 5 test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Andes Central/Dakota Christian notched a victory over Mitchell Christian (Mitchell, SD), 70-23, in a league test.

The Huskies now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bon Homme for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Bridgewater/Emery will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 51-48 league loss to Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-5.
