The Central Cass Squirrels basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Carrington Cardinals to 32 in the Squirrels non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Squirrels now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakes for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Central Cass will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 56-54 non-league win over Sargent County (Milnor, ND). The Tornadoes record now stands at 8-1.

The Cardinals (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kenmare/Bowbells (Kenmare, ND). The enter the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Kenmare/Bowbells triumphed over Garrison (Garrison, ND), 61-33, in a non-league contest.
