Virginia High School Basketball - Wakefield thwarts Colonial Forge

The Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA), 51-31 in Thursday's league test.
The Warriors (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Patriots go into the Freelance test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Yorktown went down by George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA), 52-41, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Brooke Point for a Commonwealth test on Friday, January 13. Colonial Forge will encounter a Black Hawks squad coming off a 48-37 league loss to Mountain View (Stafford, VA). The Black Hawks record now stands at 2-7.
