California High School Basketball - Compton Early College can't hold off Shalhevet

The Compton Early College Rising Phoenix basketball team (Compton, CA), was nudged 2-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Shalhevet Firehawks (Los Angeles, CA)
The Firehawks now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Animo Leadership for a Mulholland battle on Tuesday, January 17. Shalhevet will battle a Aztec Eagles team coming off a 19-0 league win over Summit View West (Los Angeles, CA). The Aztec Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
The Rising Phoenix (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 5-13 record.
