Minnesota High School Basketball - Sauk Rapids-Rice tipped by Delano

The Delano Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm to 52 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zimmerman for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Delano will meet a Thunder team coming off a 56-50 non-league loss to Foley (Foley, MN). The Thunder record now stands at 1-7.

The Storm (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN). The Wildcats enter the AAA Section 5 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Chisago Lakes Area was nudged by Becker (Becker, MN), 84-50, in a league contest.
