Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Mountain ripped by Higley

January 12, 2023: Gilbert, AZ 85297

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Higley Knights basketball team scored a decisive 54-26 triumph over the Desert Mountain Wolves.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A San Tan match, on Friday, January 13. Higley will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Pride enter the match with a 7-7 record after their 50-43 non-league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ).

With the defeat, Desert Mountain moves to 1-8 on the year. The Wolves travel to Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ) to meet the Firebirds in a 5A Northeast Valley match on Friday, January 13. The Firebirds enter the match with a record of 5-11. Chaparral lost 63-40 in their recent non-league match against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ)
