The Gardiner Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Morse Shipbuilders to 22 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nokomis for a A North contest on Friday, January 27.

The Shipbuilders (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Mt. Blue was routed by Brewer (Brewer, ME), 55-22, in a league contest.
