The Vermillion Tanagers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Lennox Orioles to 35 in the Tanagers league victory on Thursday.
The Tanagers now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wagner for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Vermillion will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 59-35 league win over Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Red Raiders record now stands at 8-0.
The Orioles (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Parker (Parker, SD). The Pheasants come into the A Region 4 contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Parker was defeated by Hanson (Alexandria, SD), 75-25, in a non-league contest.
