The Meir basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Milwaukee Riverside Tigers to 63 in the league triumph on Thursday.
The now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milwaukee Vincent for a Milwaukee City - Gold contest on Friday, January 13. Meir will meet a Vikings team coming off a 72-12 league loss to Milwaukee Reagan (Milwaukee, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-7.
The Tigers (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Washington/Fuller Collegiate Academy (Milwaukee, WI). The Purgolders enter the Milwaukee City - Gold contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Washington/Fuller Collegiate Academy was nudged by Milwaukee School of Languages (Milwaukee, WI), 50-39, in a league contest.
