Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals (Warrensburg, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL), 59-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Warrensburg-Latham upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Altamont (Altamont, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Altamont lost 57-44 in their recent league bout against Brownstown (Brownstown, IL)

Next up, the Hawks play the South Fork Ponies (Kincaid, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record.
